Our Story
Artists Enclave believes diversity in our organization is a cause for celebration and the key to lasting growth and a positive impact on our community.
AEDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a recipient of the 2019 Community Arts Recognition Award and holds membership in the Greater Denton Arts Council and the Denton Main Street Association.
Who We Are
As a gathering of artists and a resource to the community who seek their special talents, the AEDC is comprised of artists who practice and/or create products in one of the following categories, all whom value the tremendous contribution artists and art, in its many forms, makes to Denton County’s quality of life.

Who is Lea Hamilton?
Lea Hamilton has over 20 years’ experience in retail management, marketing, manufacturing, and sales. With a background in graphic art of 7 years, she paints in oils and watercolors and collects art. Experience in administration is 8 years. She is currently in school at North Central Texas College studying business and completed a certificate program at Center for Nonprofit Management, Dallas. Additionally, Lea is active in participating and volunteering in the Denton community with organizations like Artists’ Enclave of Denton County, Greater Denton Arts Council, Thin Line Film Festival, and Denton Black Film Festival. She has a wide network to include contacts in Dallas.

Our Mission
AEDC’s mission is to promote Denton County as a nationally emerging Destination for the Arts by uniting artists and their invaluable supporters who sincerely believe that in so doing, the community and the quality of life is enhanced for all.
What We Do
Artists Enclave organizes art technique workshops, juried art exhibitions, theatrical presentations, dance performances, vocal and instrumental concerts, fundraisers and many other events.
