The third, and final Art in the Yard of 2020 is just around the corner. It is happening this December 4th. 2020 at 630 Hillcrest here in Denton, Texas. It is a scaled down version of last year’s hugely successful “Leslie’s Holiday Art Show” that packed the Armadillo Ale Works venue virtually all day. I have some new Garden Glyphs and have finally secured a new supply of raw materials to create a whole new batch of wind chimes – huge bells – for that show as well.
We will have pottery, fiber art and jewelry as well. We observe social distancing, and utmost safety at this event, and if we are placed on shutdown, we will follow those guidelines explicitly – and shut it down!
Hey Susan,
Well I am pretty sure the date is 12/5, and if we get shut down by virus, we are going to do some 1-on-1 sales of Leslie’s work and mine – here at the house. That will give good distance for everyone. My chimes are big cylinders of old tanks and I have found some small ones to build this year as well. The sound is deep and “churchy” in a way! Cheers, Shannon
I am so glad that I stopped by for the holiday sale. It looked to be a great success!
It was a great success for all of us! Lots of attendance and all were safe. We will have another series of “Art in the Yard” sales this spring. My steel is still for sale (had to make a whole new batch) out front, and the Denton Spring Show will be here before we know it!
I sure want to stop by, Shannon. I’m a real lover of wind chimes and all things cool/beautiful for my yard.
